Resotube tremolo vs Marque tremolo comparison

Postby echobeach » 18 Feb 2013, 16:52

Hi all, I recently purchased a Burns Marquee while I was in the UK. I really like this guitar and would like to know if there is much of a difference between the Marquee tremolo and the Resotube unit on the Marvin/Apachee series guitars.

Yes there is quite a bit of difference. In fact two totally different designs - The Rezo Tube trem isn't as responsive as the Marquee's Fender copy, but workable all the same.

Thanks Dave, I have noticed a lot more sustain compared with the typical fender tremolo units ,it must be a combination of the zero fret and the knife edge tremolo mounting.
