SHADOWS OF EVENING-an original tune

Here's a tune wot I wrote.

http://www.box.com/s/wv05liltw51eng9g0gpk

It could have been a song. It could have had worms -
“Shadows of evening, slip from the sky
Looked up at the dusk clouds, pigeon poo'ed in my eye” - etc
but I didn't think that would catch on so it'll just have to stay an Instro.
Intentionally written in that gentle guitar group style (hence the “Shadows - ” - geddit?) typical of slow tunes of the 1960's – 70's. Many a fine 'Date' ended smooching to a tune like this.
BT is all Band In A Box.
Guitar is my beloved hand-built Alan Brason Strat with Kinman pickups and Elixir 11s strings. Chain is – Guitar-Korg ampworks mini-modeller on AC30TB /twin cab setting-Zoom2000 EFTP on patch 36 – thats it! Simples!
Enjoy!
Or not!
cheers
Ian

That's nice Slockapocka, lush chords, augs, dims, sus4s.
I would have called it 'Bakewell's overdone one and it's all on the floor ', but that's just a matter of taste.
Smashing.

Very nice Ian.

I'm just having a quiet five minutes listening to this whilst sticking pins in my Voodoo Ecca doll.
A relaxing way to pass the time.

Cheers, Alan.

Hi Paul - will do, provided the Erection Team (ooh er) get a move on on the Friday and get the Conservatory framework up. That'll leave me free to come and annoy you on Saturday - and eat more of June's wonderful cakes! ;)
Hi Phil - Glad you enjoyed it. it all came about due to a noodle around with some chords and all of a sudden there was a tune. Simples! Nice and relaxing to play and the BT was great fun to make in Band In a Box.
cheers

Nice one Slapsticker.

Lovely composition and great playing as usual. What I liked best was your sound - it could have been produced by the man himself, and I don't mean Ecca!

Hi Phil
long time, no see or hear.
Thanks for the very kind words :)
The Kinman neck pickup on my Brason produces gorgeous mellow tone.
