Posted: 02 Mar 2022, 22:53Nick, I don't mean to hijack your post and your really lovely interpretation of this beautiful tune, but when Jim mentioned the intro with flatwounds I remembered recording this song with our friend Jay Bee (John Barry) from Denmark about 20 years ago. I had heard his version and suggested that he send me the soundfile so that I would add the intro and do the background chords on my Rickenbacker 330/6 with Pyramid flatwounds. I think Jim is absolutely right. It made a huge difference. I am posting a short clip just so you can hear how it sounds.
