WONDERFUL LAND ON TONELAB BY SPIKE

Hi Everyone

My reason for posting this is to show the sound of the TVS3 through a Vox Tonelab.
I used my Fender 64 reissue with CS54 pups into my TVS3 then the Tonelab, then into line in of my PC.
I usually record with an amp but I was pleased with the sound I got without an amp and mic. setup.

If anyone using a tone lab or TVS3 wants my settings, I am happy to email them to you.

Excellent Spike as per usual. Out of interest which Tonelab did you use and I'd like to see your settings. I have two, the SE & LE models.

Spot on Spike, great playing and sound/tone, I've just played along with it through my valve Etap and mine is pretty close using Prog 4-Mix 7-Mode C/E- Feedback 6, Cheers Keith.

Cracking sound file!! Great tone from those 54s - not glassy but still good and bright. And those muted echoes are wonderful.
Great playing too - you should do it more often - lol!

Thanks Dave and Alan for your nice words.

Dave: There is also a knob on the back of the tonelab which is hard to photograph. I think its set around the middle.
If its too high one way you get distortion. Too much the other way and you cant hear it. Thats something you need to tweak in conjunction with the other settings.
Have fun with it.

Alan: I do miss our little emails mate. I have a few pics to show you also. All our doggies doing well. Getting older with Daddy turning 11 years in October and Mum turned 10 years in February.
The kids are 8 and also October birthdays. Springers are the hungriest dogs. Every time we get up they think its food time. Love em to bits though.

We have just been through building a new house and moving heaps of junk over. Its been a nightmare and our builder has caused much stress from all the problems their contractors left.

Anyway be good to swap a few pics soon.

Great cover of this Shads classic with near perfect sound and playing - very impressive. I agree, we should hear more from you. Interesting as you've used a Tonelab to great effect and no sign of 'pedal nuances' clouding the sound. Excellent Spike.
