I use Burns Barracuda with strings La Bella Fender Bass VI - 6 String Flat Wound Set 026 .035 .044 .055 .075 .095

Great to hear "Man from Nowhere" played on a Burns Barracuda.
I've got the same 6 string bass.
Did you need to carry out any alterations to accommodate the La Bella strings or was it simply a case of swooping the strings?

Yes Tony there is a change, we must enlarge the hole in the Rez-O-Tube E grave, Labella strings Flatwood 6String are not available in Europe, I had to buy in the U.S.. http://www.bassstringsonline.com/La-Bel ... p_224.html
I changed the Barracuda 3 knobs ,' the switch tip, black trim after vibrato and strap buttons as the original Burns model
