The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is a 1966 Italian Spaghetti western film directed by Sergio Leone, starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach
Hank Marvin recorded his version of the sound track for his 2000 CD "Marvin at the Movies"
This is my 12th upload from this album - I'm hoping to record them all eventually.
The Tabs are available from Steve Gibb here :-

And The backing track comes from "Marvin Mastertrax" - CD availabe here :- http://www.shadowsland.freeserve.co.uk/

Recorded using my Alan Brason Strat with Kinman FV-HMS pickups. Alesis quadraverb Q2 programmed with echoes from the past (EFTP) patch 0-36.
Some Tremolo added afterwards in Cubase

Hope you like "The Good The Bad and The Ugly"
Cheers Phil

Thank you very much Fred - I always appreciate your comments.
This one is not everyone's cup of tea I know, but I wanted to record all the tracks from the "Marvin at the Movies" album and this happens to be on there.
All the best to you and team cobie!

Kind regards... Phil

Hello Phil - well this is a very different sound from your Strat and as others have said it fits in just right with the tune.

I guess you've achieved it with suitable use of EQ.

Excellent playing as usual.

Thanks very much Jan and Roger for your replies. Always appreciated.
Yes it is a different sound to my "usual" - Needed that twangy spaghetti western sound and as my 20 year old tremolo pedal packed up half way through my recording - added the tremolo and a bit of eq'ing in cubase afterwards.

All the best... Phil
