Till There Was You (for those that didn't see this on Facebook). I love this tune as it has diminished and augmented chords...

Well played Martin great solo at 1:12 and the Gretsch sounds just right for this song.
Merry Christmas... Phil

Thanks guys. In fact I started with the (Beatles') solo and then decided to work the song around it. George Harrison certainly knew how to compose a solo, e.g. Something...
Regards, Martin.

Very nice rendition and tone Martin . So many great melodic Lennon Mc Cartney tunes make really good guitar instrumentals.
I am currently working on World Without Love using the excellent Roger Paulsson backing track.

Great stuff I enjoyed that
N.B. The solo on "Something" was the work of and played by Eric Clapton

Hi Dave
The solo on While my guitar gently weeps was Clapton.
Something's solo was Harrison.

Michael

Hi Mike
I not sure whether your comment referred to the song at issue here. But Til there was you was not written by Lennon McCartney
