Written by Mike Batt and Tim Rice in late 1982. David Essex's single reached no 2 in the UK charts in Jan 1983. This has always been one of my "Christmas" favourites.
John Skelton Kindly agreed to play a harmony line for me.
Many thanks to John for that.

Mike Batt can do little wrong in my opinion (a superb composer) and neither can you two guys.
Excellent production and the harmonies are brilliant!
Its always been a Christmas fave of mine too - I even did an SF of it in 2006, not a patch on this one though.
