TEDDYBEARS PICNIC

Got time for a little bit of Christmas FUN?
Written by John Walter Bratton, an American composer, in 1907, the lyrics that we all know and love were added by Irish songwriter, Jimmy Kennedy in 1932.
Although it has a frivolous sounding title, this tune is actually quite a sophisticated piece of writing. It was originally called “Teddybears Two-Step” but soon got changed to the title we know today,
Anyway, enough of this Guff – here is my version of it and I am indebted to George Lewis for allowing the use of his excellent backing track.
Usual Brason Strat etc.
Enjoy!
Cheers

For those of a strong stomach, this partial video is of me making a bit of a “Hash” of it at the Warwick Shadows Guitar Club Christmas Party, 8th December 2013. Funny how its always perfect at home, and when you get on Stage - ??!!

Lovely job old mate.

How many times have I done this. Nine times in the conservatory at home......bang on.

Play same thing in front of more than three people......the notes fall on the floor and
musical dyslexia sets in. :D :D :D

I recently watched a video of Brian May's cock ups. I felt so much better after that.

Cheers, Alan.

Hi Ian - Smashing job both on the the Box version and on the Live performance.
There's quite a lot going on in this one and you made it very interesting with the different registers and damped sections. Great playing and super BT from George !
All the best... Phil

Hi Al, Ecca and Phil and thank you for listening.
Al - I'd love the link to MrMays cock-ups if you have it.
Phil - lots going on and the key seems to move about - always "something" to remember - or forget - lol!!
cheers
