Mr. Postman

I've always liked the Carpenters and the enjoyment of their recordings was boosted by the wonderful solo guitar breaks by Tony Peluso.

Here is my version of Mr Postman using the same arrangement.

Hi Roger - A great arrangement smashing tones - Did you use 2 different guitars? the one at the end sounds like a Gretsch.

Hi Phil, glad that you enjoyed it.

As you probably realised the main tune is played on a Strat and to attempt to copy the guitar breaks on the original I used my DeArmond Starfire which is about as near as I can get to the Gibson ES335 of Tony Peluso.

It took a while and was a challenge.
