Peace Pipe with Binson EC3 modified

Hi there
I have an old Binson EC3 with lots of noise in it, you can almost tast the seaside.
But when I use a noisegate it works OK. The EC3 has been modified by moving the first head a bit foreward, then you get this long echotime and it's analog not digital. It's my trusty old Fender Strat I've been using.
Hope you like Peace Pipe this way.
Kind regards
Franklin

Hi Franklin
I know what you mean by "you can hear the seaside!" - my Korg Ampworks is like that too!
Great sound! Maybe a touch too much reverb - it really goes on - and on - and on! Awesome!
I really enjoyed it.
cheers
ian

I agree with Bo. I would have died for an echo like that in the '60's. Not much of a Shad player these days but can appreciate a good sound when I hear it--may not be a carbon copy of Peace Pipe but it has character, very much the Spotnicks sound.
I would love to try and replicate the sound using VST as I have a dry Peace Pipe with no efx at all to play around with. Any timings/heads/ feedback levels et al would be appreciated. I should be able to work the eq/modulation out in Sound Forge.

Hi Bri
It's really simpel, turn your feedback all the way up until it almost tip over.
