Is it true that the Olympia shows in Paris in June 1975 were intended as 'farewell' shows? I know that John Farrar was intending to leave the band to move into production, so maybe this prompted the split? Or were they just off trying their own things.
If '20 Golden Greats' never appeared perhaps the Shadows may never have got back together?
The live album is a fine album but i would have preffered to have a complete show with no edits rather than highlights. The CD i have from EMI has virtually no between song banter!
