The tune is indeed Round and Round as featured in Summer Holiday (1963) and written by Hank, Bruce and Brian.

They would seem to be a Brazilian group. Pretty good too. I've been reading some of the comments on Youtube - but my Spanish is very shaky. However - it's clearly an LP of (mostly) cover versions. I think that confusion may have arisen because many of the original versions covered on the LP date from 1960. As they also cover "Peppermint Twist", "The Locomotion" and "The Rise & Fall Of F Bunt" on the album - then it clearly can't date from 1960. I believe that it was actually released in 1965. For some reason they changed the title of "Round & Round" & maybe someone put the incorrect publishing date on the album. Anyway - it's quite pleasant listening & I hope that I've 'solved' the mystery.

Interesting, one of my first bands was named "The Fenders" - located in UpperAustria ( 1963-1978).
We played all the Shadows, CCR , Beatles, Stones stuff. Didn`t know that there was a second
group named The Fenders at he same time!
Hans
PS: we played Round & Round from The Shadows !
