Youtube Shads uploads

I've noticed one subscriber on Youtube seems intent on uploading every single Shads/Hank recording - at least it seems that way with the current rate of uploads and the lesser known nature of some of the tracks.

Is some of this ok because of the 50 year copyright rule (is that still in place?), or because many tracks are recent is it tantamount to stealing?

I noticed that too. It is someone by the name of "Rika". I very much doubt that uploading music younger than 50 years is legal.

I noticed recently that Andrewshadowy as reappeared, seen some live bootleg recordings. He vanished for a while but appears to be back.

I can't see why you're all complaining. Are any of you losing out financially? No, thought not! I don't care who uploads it: Let the music play!

it'll be because of some wildly outdated sense of right and wrong I expect.

I’m not sure right and wrong can get outdated! However, YouTube does police uploads made to it, so copyright owners have eventual redress.

I think You Tube now has a deal with PRS so that music played on You Tube counts as streaming for royalties

It's great to see all those videos in one place.
