Yes that was a very nice and detailed tribute in The Herald George. Once upon a time I
bought it for the comprehensive job pages on the Friday!!!

A fitting tribute, to a real gent. I count my self lucky to have had a brief chat with him, at an instrumental convention, in 2001 - he was cheerfull, polite and seemed happy to share his memories and musical knowledge-albeit he must have had to answer the same questions many times?
