Thanks Simon. Original? Up to a point, yes, but also highly derivative. The 12 bar blues sequence allows each player to make it up as he goes along. However I think we were all playing patterns we were individually used to. The fun is in seeing how it actually goes and whether it comes to a tidy end. Licorice and Ian kept an eye on each other all the way through determining what might happen next, while the rest of us followed their lead.

Not much of a melody but happy to say this was the birth of the Licorice Bar Blues!
