Drummer Required

Hi Folks

The Silver Shadows are looking for a drummer, for at least one upcoming gig and, if successful, for hopefully many more in the future. I've decided that I want to front the band rather than sing lead vocals from behind the drum kit, so there is a spot going for a drummer who:

- can play Shadows and Cliff Richard & The Shadows numbers.
- is prepared to rehearse on a fairly regular basis with the band.

If the incoming drummer could do backing vocals as well, that would be superb.

This potentially a permanent spot but beginning with this first gig. The band has a couple of gigs coming up but the calendar should begin to fill once we are sure the new line-up works.

What I need is a band that doesn't just bury the drummer under a ton of sound... know anyone like that?

I tried to sing two numbers at the Berkshire Club this evening... and they buried me... <grumble>
