Marvin Welch Farrar 1971 concert programme

I was delighted recently to add a 1971 MWF concert programme to my collection. It's not in the best condition, but as it contains John Farrar's autograph, then it's a 'must have' as far as I am concerned! It's also interesting that it is signed by just John and Hank, which leads me to speculate that it might have been signed on one of the Marvin & Farrar tours after Bruce had left. What is also interesting is that the band biog is dated January 1971 and yet there is an advert on the back cover for 'Second Opinion' and no mention of this album is made in said biog. Anyway... here are some small pics!

I'll just add a couple of quotes from the programme... since in the photo it is too small to be read.

The threesome are also all songwriters and between them they have composed an entire album, "Marvin, Welch and Farrar", a Regal Zonophone L.P. featuring the single "Faithful." The single is released on January 22nd, and the L.P. on February 5th.

Marvin, Welch and Farrar will be appearing on Cliff Richard's European tour which begins on March 26th. TV dates will include "Top of the Pops" on February 4th, and again on February 18th, when they will play three tracks from the album.

Hi Chris,
The information in this programme is much more outdated. The given dates are from early 1971 whereas the "Second Opinion" LP was released in October, 1971.
The programme was sold at concerts in May, 1972:

Picked up a copy of the first Marvin Welch Farrar lp at a record fair many years ago.
It too was only signed by Hank & John, probably when only the two of them were active.
