Indeed - this is software I'd love to have, Thumper. I'm not particularly keen on tab, I prefer the proper dots, but it sounds like a great shortcut regardless.

I never did slow down Memory, Des, but I did learn it for a gig a coupla years back. I can certainly do so for you if you'd like me to. Let me know.

Good luck with Willie, Jay. Asking Alan would have been the quick fix, certainly! Meanwhile, I find I really like Jet's version from way back and tend towards that one in gigs. But it would be good to nail the other one, at least in a club context! I'm always in favour of personal spin though. Apart from anything else, it's a great excuse when it goes wrong :)

Hi Iain,
Both "Memory" tracks received,thank you very much,you're a gent. The higher pitch one is a very good idea as I have difficulty hearing the low bass notes. As I think I have said before,I especially like Alan Jone's bass work on this tune and although I could fabricate something I would dearly like to get it just right. I'll let you know how I get on.
