To my knowledge, the group used Burns guitars from the single "The Rise And Fall Of Flingel Bunt" onwards, up to and including the 1970 album "Shades Of Rock", also the Marvin, Welch & Farrar albums "Marvin, Welch & Farrar" and "Second Opinion" and Hank Marvin's first three solo singles as well as his first solo album.

its an interesting debate. Even if not intended if the Burns was there to hand it must have been tempting for Hank to use it for a take or two.

Hank took the Burns guitar to a French gig in late 1963 as an absolute minimum. He showed it to the NME journalist who had accompanied the group across the Channel by light aeroplane. There are also photos of Hank with a prototype at Abbey Road studios.
