I assume the new production run will end up in the shops. But maybe the 'wrong' CD would serve as proof of its own purchase for a free exchange?

I'd have thought that a photo of the customer holding the CD, plus maybe a section of a credit card receipt with the date, shop and price shown, would be enough for Warner/Parlophone.

Posted: Wed Apr 10, 2019 1:59 pmNot really a big deal, it was bought at Tesco using points that my wife accrued. Another few pounds won’t break the bank just hope the sleeve is different so we don’t buy another defect.

Hi Iain, rest assured we will replace copies. We are waiting for a remanufacturing date based on remaining stock levels of the old version, so might be a few months before that happens.
Once we get a remanufacturing date, we will open the replacement program and I’ll be sure to let you know.

In other words... everyone go out and buy the remaining original copies! I've got two. Done my bit. Sooner they're gone, sooner we get the new ones!
