Just to let you know the annual gala of the East Yorkshire Guitar club Scarborough is to be held on June 15th and 16th 2019 at our normal venue of the Rugby Club , Scalby near Scarborough. Walkers Fish Restaurant booked also!
More details will be posted nearer the date.

Hi Linda, We have booked again at the Headlands Hotel, we are really looking forward to getting away for the weekend and being with you all again. Is there any word yet on who the guest players are likely to be ?

Hello all,
Just updating you with latest news, We now have four bands playing on Saturday with 'SOUNDS INSTRUMENTAL', 'DOWN SOUTH', 'ROLLBACK' & 'SHAZAM & IAN GEAST'
Sunday will see three of the bands playing . As per usual there will be plenty of time for individual players to perform live or to backing tracks. Could I remind individual players to bring their own minidisc or memory stick if your track is out of the ordinary.
The gala opens each day at 11am until 5 30pm. The fish restaurant is booked as per usual, please let me know on Saturday if you wish to go so I have a rough idea of numbers. The address is Silver Royd Rugby Club, Scalby Road Scarborough YO13 ONL. Looking forward to catching up with you all again.

Thanks to you all for having us. Some excellent music and a great catchup with old friends as well as a chance to meet new ones. Oh, and fish and chips of course!

Totally agree, Iain. A wonderful weekend with superb music, great musicians and a fantastic crowd, not forgetting the haute cuisine on Saturday night. Thanks to Ian and Linda Harper for organizing it along with all their helpers and assistants who did a marvellous job over both days. Really enjoyed it.

A really nice weekend and I second what Ian and Iain have said - from somebody not called Ian or Iain!!

I'm back home from the Gala after a 300 mile drive but it was well worth it for the great weekend of music and meeting up with friends again. Thanks to Ian and Linda Harper for organising a great event and the fish and chips on Saturday.
